Meet The Cast
as ELVIS PRESLEY
RICHARD ATKINS
Elvis has always been part of Richard's life. His mother, Pat, brought up her four children listening to the music of "The King". It was part of their daily lives to hear Elvis on the turntable. From an early age, Richard’s sister, Diyane, recognised her brother had a voice that bore an amazing resemblance to Elvis and encouraged him to take up a musical career. At the age of eighteen, Richard made his first stage appearance singing the Elvis classic "Love Me Tender" and although his nerves were on edge at the prospect of singing in public, he impressed the audience and promoter so much that he was re-booked immediately.
It wasn't until the death of Elvis Presley that Richard finally made his mind up to concentrate on a musical career, following P.J. Proby's performance in “Elvis the Musical".

Peter’s first major breakthrough in music was in 2004 as frontman and songwriter for his band, The Delaners. They were fortunate enough to secure a record contract, release a single and were offered an album deal. They received rave reviews and built up a strong cult following, touring the UK and Europe extensively, performing to audiences of thousands in arenas and at festivals. JOHN SIMON RAWLINGS
According to John-Simon's mum, from the tender age of six, her son would charge the older kids a few bob to let them hear him sing - so thus it began.

Following some time out after the birth of his son Jamie, he won the major role of The Big Bopper in the Buddy Show at The Strand Theatre, in London's West End where he wowed audiences for six fantastic years. He later went on to join the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar at The Lyceum Theatre, London where he played King Herod.

John-Simon's inspiration is his dear family. He says, "There's only us - there's only this, forget regret or life is yours to miss..." - "No Day But Today", a lyric from one of his favourite musicals "RENT"

Sadly, Johnny is no longer with us having passed away in 2022. His legacy is ever-apparent though. Ask anyone and they'll say, "Johnny Curtiss is simply brilliant! If you close your eyes, it’s as though you were right back in the heyday of the time”
